Do you sell your resources? (Fabrics, Vendors, Factories)

We do offer a short list from our database of preferred contacts accessible in our store. With that said we are not a directory or a sourcing company, we are a design, development and production company therefore we handle the complete product cycle for our customers, and we operate as their production department/manager. We have a wide network of resources that we work with and depending on the product needs we either use them or source more (if needed) and we work with these resources on your behalf. Our customers have us as their one point of contact, rather than needing to  coordinate or manage all the resources themselves. 

What type of product can you develop/ produce?

We can develop any type of garment for women, men and children, at different price points, as well as accessories (bags, belts etc.). We work with different factories and each specializes in a product category and market. Therefore we can produce anything from evening wear and bridal to casual wear, active/performance wear swimwear, underwear and more. We work with contemporary sizes as well as plus size and petite.

I am looking to start a fashion brand, how can you help me?

We love working with start-ups and are aware of the challenges that they face. Therefore, to best serve start-ups, we would first like to learn more about your product, concept and business needs and will then be able to suggest the best ways to move forward. I am not located in the New York area, can I still work with you?

Absolutely. We work with customers from all around the US, as well as other countries. Nowadays, technology allows us to keep great communication and provide the same level of service whether you are located in our area or not.

I have patterns developed already, can we hire only your production services?

This depends on your patterns. We normally prefer to handle the complete product cycle because it makes the production process a lot easier and faster and helps us provide the best quality. Different pattern makers and sample makers do things differently, and many times they can make a great product for samples that are not production ready. Production is a different process from sampling, and some parts can only be done as samples (not scalable for producing bulk). Our development process keeps production in mind, we develop the samples with the factories that will then produce the bulk order to minimize production issues and deliver the quality that our customers require. This can be challenging when producing a pattern that has not been done by us. However, we can still work with the pattern but will require to check the pattern and make a sample (at full sample cost) first to make sure there are no issues for production.

Where do you develop the products?

We develop ALL PRODUCTS IN NEW YORK regardless of where production takes place.

Do you produce domestically or offshore?

We have the network, capacity and resources to produce both domestically and offshore. This will depend on the product, price point, your business concept etc. Although our priority is to produce domestically there are certain types of products that are very hard (and many times impossible) to produce domestically since the resources (skills, machinery, materials etc.) and cost are not available in the domestic market.

Do you require a minimum for production?

No, we have domestic resources that are accommodating for productions under 100 units. If you are looking to produce offshore there will be required minimums from the factories.

Do you require a minimum for development?

No. If you only have one product or style then that’s perfectly fine.

Do you own your own factories?

No, but we work with factories that are handpicked by us, and who we have years of working relationships with. These factories are committed to our products and our customers.

Do you work with start-up fashion brands or only existing brands?

We work with both existing/established fashion brands and start-ups brands. We have services and resources that are tailored to both. To learn how we can help your business, please schedule a strategy session with Anna.

Do you require the client to sign a contract?

We do require you to sign service and terms agreement for coaching, development, production management, and/or marketing services.
